I work with clients attending appointments and helping them understand their health conditions and treatment options. I coordinate care between providers and can arrange second opinions. I am able to help manage medical bills and claims ensuring accuracy and negotiate with insurance companies in the event of a denial. My experience as a nurse and a patient allows me to provide competent and compassionate guidance when dealing with the complex and confusing healthcare system.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I am an oncology certified nurse and enjoyed helping my patients face the scary world of cancer, developing meaningful relationships along the way. In 2013, I was thrown into my own person journey of a diagnosis of breast cancer. Despite the scary and devastating diagnosis, I was able to be my own advocate because I had the skills, experience and connections to be a steward of my own care and make informed decisions. Over the years, I have helped friends and family members as they battled cancer and dealt with other difficult issues from overpriced medications to billing and insurance issues. I take great joy in taking my experience and being able to use it to help others.
